CAST Highlight primed for Cyber-secure Cloud Analytics with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification

NEW YORK, May 8, 2015 – CAST, the global leader in software analysis and measurement, today announced it has been audited and certified on ISO/IEC 27001:2013 for Information Security Management Systems that are involved in the development, maintenance and operations of the CAST Cloud-Based Software Analysis Services. Bureau Veritas (UK branch) said that by meeting the requirements and standards of ISO 27001, CAST’s cloud-based software analysis services, including Highlight, can safely enable its clients worldwide to measure the health and security of their IT systems.

CAST Highlight is the Cloud-Based platform for fast & secure Application Portfolio Analysis and management. Highlight helps CIOs and IT organizations identify software risks, reduce complexity and cost, and align IT decisions with business objectives through unique code-level analysis, analytics and interactive dashboards.

“As businesses move to the convenience of Cloud-based software, ensuring the security of their applications, and ultimately their networks and data, are of increasingly vital importance” said Olivier Bonsignour, head of products at CAST. “CAST delivers a deep, thorough analysis of the core systems and applications which run many large organizations, searching for and finding potential problems. Our compliance with ISO 27001 provides them with an assurance that their systems meet world-class security standards.”

In addition to the ISO certification, CAST’s products were recently pre-certified against security, performance and reliability specifications developed by the Consortium for IT Software Quality (CISQ). Taken together, passing the stringent criteria of the two independent bodies delivers a new level of assurance to the practice of measuring code quality. “With IT professionals increasingly acknowledging that cybersecurity and structural quality are inherently linked, CAST’s dual certifications deliver a greater level of confidence in application quality than ever before to professionals, ranging from software architects to C-level executives,” Bonsignour added.
