Definition

Cloud Maturity Index measures the software & organizational characteristics that make applications more or less optimized for the cloud (or “cloud native”). This index from 0 (low maturity) to 100 (high maturity) is an average of the two main scores for measuring Cloud Maturity:

  • Cloud Scan: This score from 0 to 100 is calculated based on detected blockers and boosters found in the source code
  • Cloud Survey: This score from 0 to 100 is calculated based on survey questions addressing other aspects of the application/team Cloud Maturity that can’t be detected through the code scan
